Welcome to historic downtown Pleasant Hill’s Railroad Days. Pleasant Hill is a quaint town that is located half way between Lee’s Summit and Harrisonville, Missouri on Highway 7.
Railroad Days is a celebration of our history as well as life in a small town. It will be held APRIL 28th thru the 30th 2017. Not only is Rail Road Days back, but will have an emphasis on trains and the talents of our residents and bits of history. It will be a celebration to welcome spring. You are all invited to attend and become a part of our community if only for a short time.
Pleasant Hill was established in the early 1830s. The train was an important center point to the town and remains a fixture today. Many of our buildings in our historic district are 150 years old. The Pleasant Hill Historical Society Museum & Research Library just went through a renovation and our rich heritage has resurfaced. We would like to thank them for all of the archive information and photos for the website.
Plan to attend this event. It is free of charge and events are being planned. If you would like to be a vendor, visit our page for an application. Share your skills with us. There will be entertainment and above all, there will be trains.
Whether you are here for one day or all three, come and see what a small town has to offer.
